The X4 is a slightly understable, low profile, high speed distance driver. It is great for players with lower arm speed that are looking to gain more distance. The X4 is designed to hold a turnover even at a lower speed. The X4 performs very well at low heights and in tunnel shots. For players with faster arm speed, the X4 will flip later in the flight path, and is perfect for long wooded shots or accurate turnovers.

400G from Prodigy Disc

400G series is the regular 400 plastic with a shot of adrenaline. It is the base 400 plastic mixed with another resin that give the plastic a slightly different feel than the base 400 series. The additive also makes the disc more durable and requires more time to break it in.

Launched in 2013 and currently based in Georgia and with a strong presence in Europe, Prodigy has looked to bring an innovative approach to disc golf. With various plastic blends and a full line of discs, Prodigy aims to lead the future of disc golf.

The four numbers on a disc tell you the discs’s flight characteristics: speed, glide, turn, and fade.

Lower speed ratings typically translate to a disc being easier to throw, but may not go as far. Higher the speed, further they’ll fly, but they are more difficult to throw.

Glide tells you how much it wants to stay in the air.

Turn indicates how much it wants to turn to the right at high speeds. -4 will turn more than -1.

Fade tells you about the end of the flight. The higher the number, the stronger it will finish to the left.
