Powergrip has been a leader in the disc golf industry since our founding in 2009. Based in Finland, Powergrip is not only Europe’s largest disc golf store, it is the world’s first disc golf retailer operating on two continents.

We strive to offer the best customer experience in the disc golf industry. This mindset has brought us far in Europe and will serve us well in the United States.

Powergrip USA’s online store launched in June 2022. Our US operations are based in Bloomington, Illinois and we have plans for multiple retail locations throughout the United States in the coming years.

The four numbers on a disc tell you the discs’s flight characteristics: speed, glide, turn, and fade.

Lower speed ratings typically translate to a disc being easier to throw, but may not go as far. Higher the speed, further they’ll fly, but they are more difficult to throw.

Glide tells you how much it wants to stay in the air.

Turn indicates how much it wants to turn to the right at high speeds. -4 will turn more than -1.

Fade tells you about the end of the flight. The higher the number, the stronger it will finish to the left.
