The MVP Disc Sports Glitch has quickly turned into a favorite of disc golfers everywhere. That includes us at Powergrip and Simon Lizotte, member of Team Powergrip and Team MVP. When we set out for our first Collab Series, the Glitch as was at the top of the list. After some fun discussions, we've worked together to create this new release. Meet the MVP Disc Sports R2 Eclipse Rim Glitch Glitsch - Simon Lizotte & MVP Powergrip Collab Series.

This is your chance to help us support Simon this season as a portion of each disc sold goes directly to him.

The Glitch is a unique hybrid putter and catch disc. It is the size of a putter, but very lightweight and surprisingly stable. It does not take a lot of effort to see the Glitch fly far with great glide. Perfect for some catch, a little warmup with a friend, or even as an approach disc.

Naming, Colors, and Weights

Simon mentioned the word "glitsch" in German means slippery. We felt an opportunity for the play on words and ran with it. Yes, this is the Glitch Glitsch and we love it.

Each disc has a black core with a unique blue color glow rim. Each disc has a triple foil stamp.

The Glitch is available in weights between 140-154g.

R2 Eclipse Rim from MVP Disc Sports

R2 Eclipse is MVP’s first step towards making disc golf a more reusable and environmentally sustainable sport, and we couldn’t be prouder of it! Replicating the look and feel of classic Eclipse, R2 Eclipse - as a combination of many colors of Eclipse plastic - will only be available in black cores a blue glow rim.

Led by two brothers, Brad and Chad Richardson have grown the Michigan based company into one of the most unique and innovative brands in disc golf. Home of the “overmold” disc and their Gyro technology, MVP Disc Sports have dedicated their efforts to a highly efficient line of discs from putters to distance drivers.

The four numbers on a disc tell you the discs’s flight characteristics: speed, glide, turn, and fade.

Lower speed ratings typically translate to a disc being easier to throw, but may not go as far. Higher the speed, further they’ll fly, but they are more difficult to throw.

Glide tells you how much it wants to stay in the air.

Turn indicates how much it wants to turn to the right at high speeds. -4 will turn more than -1.

Fade tells you about the end of the flight. The higher the number, the stronger it will finish to the left.
