The Kastaplast Kaxe has seen a retool in 2023. This new version has slightly more glide and a touch less fade than it's previous version.

K1 from Kastaplast

K1 is a unique plastic blend manufactured in Sweden. It is moderately grippy and extremely durable. K1 is a stiffer blend than K2 plastic.

The Stockholm, Sweden based company has quickly gained popularity around the world with a unique plastic blend and high performing discs. With their start in 2011, prototyping and innovation have driven Kastaplast forward to today.

The four numbers on a disc tell you the discs’s flight characteristics: speed, glide, turn, and fade.

Lower speed ratings typically translate to a disc being easier to throw, but may not go as far. Higher the speed, further they’ll fly, but they are more difficult to throw.

Glide tells you how much it wants to stay in the air.

Turn indicates how much it wants to turn to the right at high speeds. -4 will turn more than -1.

Fade tells you about the end of the flight. The higher the number, the stronger it will finish to the left.
