The Magic is one of Gateways most popular putters and one of the best all around disc for both new players and those with more experience. It is a straight flying putter / approach disc that can be easily used by beginners because of its great glide and small amount of low speed fade. This is also an easy disc to turn over and will hold just about any line it is thrown without hyzering out.

SSS Hemp Blend from Gateway

Super Stupid Soft plastic makes discs very soft and flexible to the touch, combined with Gateway's blend of hemp and recycled rubber.

The four numbers on a disc tell you the discs’s flight characteristics: speed, glide, turn, and fade.

Lower speed ratings typically translate to a disc being easier to throw, but may not go as far. Higher the speed, further they’ll fly, but they are more difficult to throw.

Glide tells you how much it wants to stay in the air.

Turn indicates how much it wants to turn to the right at high speeds. -4 will turn more than -1.

Fade tells you about the end of the flight. The higher the number, the stronger it will finish to the left.
