The Gateway NXT Odyssey is the first overmold disc from Gateway Disc Sports and comes with a unique story. The Gateway Odyssey is a slightly understable control driver done with the familiar, yet not the same, overmold technology that is done by other brands in the sport. While the Odyssey will have a moderate turn, it is quite easy to control based on power and release angle. The moderate speed makes it quite easy to throw as well for disc golfers of all skill levels.
The Odyssey has been a labor of love for Gateway. They worked in partnership with the late Steve Pearson from Quest Technology. This release honors the legacy of Steve and his collaboration with Gateway.

The four numbers on a disc tell you the discs’s flight characteristics: speed, glide, turn, and fade.
Lower speed ratings typically translate to a disc being easier to throw, but may not go as far. Higher the speed, further they’ll fly, but they are more difficult to throw.
Glide tells you how much it wants to stay in the air.
Turn indicates how much it wants to turn to the right at high speeds. -4 will turn more than -1.
Fade tells you about the end of the flight. The higher the number, the stronger it will finish to the left.
