The Discraft Z Swirl Captain's Raptor marks the next chapter for this popular limited release. Designed with Discraft's Paul Ulibarri, the Captain's Raptor takes the Raptor and turns it up a notch.

The 2025 Captain's Raptor is inspired by the 2020 Tour Series Z-Swirl plastic blend. As with previous editions, this Captain's Raptor can handle everything you can give it. It will fly wonderfully in any headwind, perform powerful flex shots, and can stand up to even the strongest forehands.

With deep roots in both disc golf and Ultimate Frisbee, Discraft have been among the leaders in disc sports. With a recent resurgence in the mid-to-late 2010's, the Wixom, Michigan based company has many popular disc golf discs for all skill levels.

The four numbers on a disc tell you the discs’s flight characteristics: speed, glide, turn, and fade.

Lower speed ratings typically translate to a disc being easier to throw, but may not go as far. Higher the speed, further they’ll fly, but they are more difficult to throw.

Glide tells you how much it wants to stay in the air.

Turn indicates how much it wants to turn to the right at high speeds. -4 will turn more than -1.

Fade tells you about the end of the flight. The higher the number, the stronger it will finish to the left.
