The Discraft Kratos is the latest addition to the Paul McBeth line of discs. The Kratos is an evolution of the Luna with similar characteristics, but is beaded and slightly more shallow. Expect to see a consistent overstable flight from this new putter.
Rubber Blend from Discraft
This is a blend of plastic and rubber together that gives the disc a rubbery feel while not being too sticky. This blend feels soft and grippy in the hand.
With deep roots in both disc golf and Ultimate Frisbee, Discraft have been among the leaders in disc sports. With a recent resurgence in the mid-to-late 2010's, the Wixom, Michigan based company has many popular disc golf discs for all skill levels.
The four numbers on a disc tell you the discs’s flight characteristics: speed, glide, turn, and fade.
Lower speed ratings typically translate to a disc being easier to throw, but may not go as far. Higher the speed, further they’ll fly, but they are more difficult to throw.
Glide tells you how much it wants to stay in the air.
Turn indicates how much it wants to turn to the right at high speeds. -4 will turn more than -1.
Fade tells you about the end of the flight. The higher the number, the stronger it will finish to the left.
