The Discraft Cicada is a straight flying fairway driver that is very easy to control. You can shape the Cicada to do nearly everything you want. Out of the box you can expect a nice soft turn before a gentle fade at the end of the flight. It fits nicely into the Discraft lineup and has can easily slot into any disc golfer's bag.

ESP from Discraft

ESP is an advanced polymer plastic that is more durable than X Line and grippier than Z Line plastic. New ESP plastic is stiffer and has a touch more grip than traditional ESP material.

With ESP Swirl technology the amount of colors and variety of colors in each disc will vary. Discs might have clearly several colors or some could have only one solid color.

With deep roots in both disc golf and Ultimate Frisbee, Discraft have been among the leaders in disc sports. With a recent resurgence in the mid-to-late 2010's, the Wixom, Michigan based company has many popular disc golf discs for all skill levels.

The four numbers on a disc tell you the discs’s flight characteristics: speed, glide, turn, and fade.

Lower speed ratings typically translate to a disc being easier to throw, but may not go as far. Higher the speed, further they’ll fly, but they are more difficult to throw.

Glide tells you how much it wants to stay in the air.

Turn indicates how much it wants to turn to the right at high speeds. -4 will turn more than -1.

Fade tells you about the end of the flight. The higher the number, the stronger it will finish to the left.
