Another edition of the famous Discmania PD. The Lone Howl III is the latest signature series disc for Team Discmania's Colten Montgomery. With a stamp design paying tribute to the original release from 2019, this is the first PD in the redesigned Metal Flake C-Line plastic. These PDs feel very comfortable to hold and are true to any PD out there.
Compared to other recent PD releases, this is not as overstable as the stock run, but also a tough more overstable than the Nordic Phenom PDs.
Metal Flake C-line from Discmania
The four numbers on a disc tell you the discs’s flight characteristics: speed, glide, turn, and fade.
Lower speed ratings typically translate to a disc being easier to throw, but may not go as far. Higher the speed, further they’ll fly, but they are more difficult to throw.
Glide tells you how much it wants to stay in the air.
Turn indicates how much it wants to turn to the right at high speeds. -4 will turn more than -1.
Fade tells you about the end of the flight. The higher the number, the stronger it will finish to the left.
