The much loved Discmania MD4 is back with a new look. The Eternal Void MD4 is the latest Signature Series release for Team Discmania's Kyle Klein. With a bit more stability than the MD3, the MD4 is a solid choice when you need an overstable flight on short drives and approach shots. While the Eternal Void implies something is missing, stability certainly isn't one of them.

The MD4 sports a blunt nose with the same micro-bead as the MD3. From fighting headwinds to strong hyzer finishes, the Discmania MD4 is certainly an overstable workhorse of a disc.

Horizon from Discmania

Horizon plastic has great grip and durability with a fun two-tone color. Typically, one color is on the flight plate with another color around the rim.

The Finnish based company also has a home in Colorado. With three lines of discs, Originals, Evolution, and Active, Discmania aims to be at the forefront of the sport’s growth with unique discs, course design, and marketing. Founder and CEO Jussi Meresmaa was named Finland’s Entrepreneur of the Year in 2021.

The four numbers on a disc tell you the discs’s flight characteristics: speed, glide, turn, and fade.

Lower speed ratings typically translate to a disc being easier to throw, but may not go as far. Higher the speed, further they’ll fly, but they are more difficult to throw.

Glide tells you how much it wants to stay in the air.

Turn indicates how much it wants to turn to the right at high speeds. -4 will turn more than -1.

Fade tells you about the end of the flight. The higher the number, the stronger it will finish to the left.
