The Discmania Notion is an understable putter designed to fly straight with less effort. Expect to get a touch of turn with very little, if any, fade at the end of the flight. The Notion is very easy to shape approach shots or even shorter drives. Every disc golfer needs a point-and-shoot style putter and this is it.

Evolution Hard Exo from Discmania

The Hard Exo plastic gives discs enough rigidity for players to be confident that the disc will retain its shape, even for players with a firm grip. While remaining firm, this plastic has a soft velvet like feel to its surface making this plastic both reliable and comfortable to the touch.

The Finnish based company also has a home in Colorado. With three lines of discs, Originals, Evolution, and Active, Discmania aims to be at the forefront of the sport’s growth with unique discs, course design, and marketing. Founder and CEO Jussi Meresmaa was named Finland’s Entrepreneur of the Year in 2021.

The four numbers on a disc tell you the discs’s flight characteristics: speed, glide, turn, and fade.

Lower speed ratings typically translate to a disc being easier to throw, but may not go as far. Higher the speed, further they’ll fly, but they are more difficult to throw.

Glide tells you how much it wants to stay in the air.

Turn indicates how much it wants to turn to the right at high speeds. -4 will turn more than -1.

Fade tells you about the end of the flight. The higher the number, the stronger it will finish to the left.
