The Discmania FD3 is the most overstable driver in the Originals lineup. This edition is a limited run fundraiser for the 2023 Discmania Open. Discmania's goal was to create a close match to the popular 2018 Glow C-Line FD3. They believe they've come pretty close. If you've thrown one of the European Open FD3s, these were produced at the same time.
These came out nice and overstable and are quite beefy. Everyone needs a trusty overstable fairway like the FD3 and this edition is a solid choice.
Color Glow C-Line from Discmania
The four numbers on a disc tell you the discs’s flight characteristics: speed, glide, turn, and fade.
Lower speed ratings typically translate to a disc being easier to throw, but may not go as far. Higher the speed, further they’ll fly, but they are more difficult to throw.
Glide tells you how much it wants to stay in the air.
Turn indicates how much it wants to turn to the right at high speeds. -4 will turn more than -1.
Fade tells you about the end of the flight. The higher the number, the stronger it will finish to the left.
